Monthly wrap up | August 2020

Hey everyone,

I wasn’t planning on doing an august wrap up due to the fact I didn’t read much in August and have had so much going on in my life at the moment… hope I don’t bore you but I’m going to tell you about some of things that have been going on but first can you believe it’s September??? Wow had the last 8 months gone???

So first thing that happened this month is I got kittens and they’ve taken up a lot of time , lucky the smaller kitten wouldn’t eat or drink to the post I was having to feed him a drink every two hours for a couple days he’s much better now and eating a lot which I’m so happy about. I love playing and snuggling with them and seeing their personalities starting to come out here’s some pictures of the little fur balls, everyone say hello to lucky and Soxs.

Another thing that has happened in August was I was about to give up my blog and forget about reviewing, I felt that my blog wasn’t good enough and it was constantly messing with my anxiety thinking why am I not connecting with any other bloggers? Is my blog that bad ? To the point I had enough and wrote a post on twitter to which some amazing people boosting my confidence and finally feeling better about blog, I still have doubts but I wanted to say a huge Thankyou to all the bloggers and everyone on twitter and the bookish community for lifting my spirits, you know who you are!!!

Anyways I’m going to get on with the wrap up post, here’s what I read in the month of August I reviewed only four books which I find disappointing, I normally read a lot more.

Always crew by Tijan 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed Always Crew by Tijan , I love all her books though which if you follow my blog I’m sure you know.

Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed Cinderella is dead by Kalynn Bayron and have to say her writing style caught my attention and I loved the spin on the Cinderella tale.

Say no more by Karen Rose 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Karen Rose is another favourite Author of mine and say no more didn’t disappoint, I also got to do an author interview with her which I was over the moon about.

Say your sorry by Karen Rose 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Say your sorry by Karen Rose was the same as my comment on say no more, I love the writing style, characters, romance and the thriller that Karen rose makes.

Other things I posted on my blog were ;

  1. Hey! The kittens are beautiful and I’m so pleased they are more settled in now 😁 I’m glad you’re feeling more positive about your blog and you stayed!! You may have only reviewed 4 books but they look like great reads and it’s 4 more than if you hadn’t bothered at all. Here’s to September 🍷 xx
